shaping the future
Innovations based on
Textile Reinforced Concrete
What is textile reinforced concrete?
Textile concrete is an alternative to reinforced concrete. It is a composite material consisting of a concrete matrix with a textile reinforcement.
This is usually made of carbon or glass fibers. Basalt fibers are also used.
Textile-reinforced concrete is much less subject to corrosion than conventional reinforced concrete. It is therefore a suitable alternative wherever concrete elements are exposed to harsh conditions.
Our Mission
Hitexbau Sachsen provides continuous impulses for innovations in the technical and functional properties of textile-reinforced concrete.
We cooperate with civil engineers, architects and research institutes to further develop the use of textile reinforcements in a future-oriented way.
Together, we bring textile expertise and technical innovations to public and private (construction) projects.
We also develop, produce and distribute innovative, sustainable and non-metallic reinforcements made of carbon, glass and basalt fibers.
